I took my first yoga class during my career as a dancer and have been inspired by the power of this practice ever since. After qualifying with Yoga Alliance and studying with various teachers around the globe, I now specialise in teaching beginners and intermediate students of all ages, together in one setting. Yoga for me is about community, where like-minded people can meet, make new friends, and share this wonderful practice whilst improving their health and wellbeing. As a trained Shiatsu practitioner I also bring my knowledge of Chinese Medicine to my yoga teaching as it has been an invaluable source of information about the healing nature of the body and it's energy system.
I teach face-to-face Sunday afternoon yoga retreats in Glasgow, West End and Herne Hill, South London as well as yoga classes online and longer retreats in beautiful destinations.
"Yoga is a place to be still; to observe, to listen, to learn, to be kinder to ourselves and others."
"Fiona has a hugely empathetic approach to everyone in the class - showing us adaptations of poses to suit our wide range of ages, body shapes and flexibility. Most of all the classes are fun, thanks to Fiona’s sense of humour."
JULIET
"Why do yoga with Fiona? She is clear, encouraging, and her teaching is informed by extensive experience and her wide knowledge. I am very impressed by her ability to monitor and help individual members of the group. Her classes are well structured and fun!"
ANNE
