Looking up is an ongoing creative art project which started in 2015.  It is a daily photographic observation of the sky taken by different people on the same day in different parts of the world. No temperatures, wind speeds, pressure or anything in exact terms is recorded. This is purely a response to looking up and finding a moment of stillness in your day. Looking up invites you to send your own personal cloud photographs and any comments on your personal observations of the sky. The inspiration for Looking up came from Brian John Edwards (1927-1998) geographer, geologist and teacher. Brian recorded his personal observations of the weather in Birmingham U.K. for 51 years between 1947 and 1998.  The data includes 18,605 entries with no day missed. Brian’s commitment to this daily ritual was such that he could very accurately predict the weather.
